ATHENS----The University of Georgia baseball team will have 16 regular season games televised during the 2010 season.
Georgia has eight of its games set to be televised according to the Southeastern Conference’s new television package, seven per the Bulldogs multimedia package with ISP and licensed to CSS and one during the series at Florida State.

The 2010 SEC Baseball television schedule also includes all games from the 2010 SEC Tournament, with the championship game airing nationally on ESPN2. The SEC television package is derived from broadcasts on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, Fox Sport South and CSS. In addition, ESPN360.com will also stream all broadcasts live online (except for games that appear on ESPNU).

Georgia has combined to make 55 television appearances since 2008 including 24 last season. The 2010 Bulldogs have a preaseason ranking of No. 22 by Baseball America, No. 23 by Rivals.com, No. 26 by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and No. 31 by Collegiate Baseball.

Georgia, ranked as high as No. 22 this year, opens the 2010 baseball season Friday in Waco, Texas where it will play Baylor twice and Duke twice.  The first three games will be carried on WRFC 960 AM and the final game Sunday will air on WGAU 1340 AM.

For the past two years, Georgia has set school records for total home attendance. A total of 93,360 fans watched the Bulldogs at Foley Field last season. Single-game tickets for all University of Georgia home baseball games are currently on sale. Reserved seat tickets to see the Bulldogs play at home this season are $8 each and General Admission tickets are $5 each. The home opener is Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 5 p.m.
