ATHENS-----The Georgia gymnastics team remained at No. 5 for the third consecutive week in the latest edition of the GymInfo Top 25 released Monday.  Alabama (197.155) is No. 1 followed by Oklahoma (196.920), UCLA (196.900), Florida (196.615) and Georgia (196.615) to round out the top five. Stanford (196.450) is No. 6 ahead of Arkansas (196.375), Oregon State (196.355), Utah (196.220) and 10th-ranked LSU (196.110).

The Gym Dogs (5-4) are coming off a 197.900-197.875 win over No. 3 UCLA last weekend. It was the second-highest score in the country this season and the highest combined dual meet total in Georgia gymnastics history.
In the team event rankings, Georgia is 13th on vault (49.145), third on bars (49.240), second on beam (49.230) and 11th on floor (49.125).

Individually, Georgia has three gymnasts ranked in the top-25 nationally in three events: Courtney McCool is third on floor (9.920), tied for eighth on beam (9.885) and tied for 21st on bars (9.855); Grace Taylor is tied for third on beam (9.910), while Kat Ding is tied for 10th on bars (9.885).  Against UCLA, Taylor recorded the nation’s first perfect 10 on beam this season. It was the 155th perfect 10 in school history and the third of Taylor’s career.

Georgia will close out the regular season with two meets this week including Friday at 12th-ranked Michigan and Sunday at home against NC State. Sunday will mark the final home meet for five Georgia seniors: Lauren Johnson, Courtney McCool, Marcia Newby, Lauren Sessler and Grace Taylor.
